Happy Thanksgiving Day! On this Thanksgiving Day, as many of you are busy preparing meals and getting ready to spend time with family and friends, God wants to gently refocus our hearts on the One who is the Giver of every good gift.
Today, when you gather around your tables, let it be about Jesus, about His mercy and grace that have sustained us through this past year. Let it be about one more year of God’s faithfulness over your family. Many of us have walked through challenges, uncertainties, and battles, yet here we are, held together by His hand. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Let’s celebrate His providence. Magnify the God who has provided us the daily bread, open doors, strength in weakness, and peace in the middle of storms. Let’s celebrate the God who never left us alone for a single moment, just as He promised: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). He has led us step by step, even when we didn’t see the full path ahead.
The question each of us should ask today is this: Where would I be if the Lord had not been with me? Picture your life without His presence, without His salvation, without His comfort and direction. Then let your heart respond with thanksgiving. The psalmist says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:2). We have so much to remember—and so much to thank Him for.
Today, may our homes be filled not just with good food, but with deep gratitude for Jesus, for His cross, for His Spirit, for His daily mercy, and for one more year of His faithfulness.
